AAMPACT General Meeting with a full programme

From 10.00h to 15.30h, packed with many topics, interesting presentations and lectures: That was the first AAMPACT General Assembly this year, on May 12th, again hosted by Messe Frankfurt. More than 50 participants came to Frankfurt to exchange views on current topics and developments in the Independent Aftermarket. There is never a shortage of exciting topics and so the agenda is always full. Starting with the Automechanika, the current activities in the working groups and industry initiatives in the association and the priorities for the next few years.

Antti Wolk, Wolk Aftersales Experts presented the overview of the European industry associations and initiatives, which had been compiled in a clear manner for the first time. The conference continued with the Talents4AA initiative, the update on NAAG, their new mentoring programme and the presentation of the industry initiative TEILEn for the safety of children in road traffic.

The third part of the meeting contained ADPA with an update on the current lawsuit against dramatically excessive fees for technical data, CARUSO with new developments, especially in the mobility data space, and CLEPA with important information on the legal developments in Brussels on our industry topics and the progress in the FAAS sustainability initiative.

The next General Meeting is on Friday, November 10th. Just as exciting and probably with just as full an agenda, as there is never a shortage of important topics in our industry.
